North Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-dept. personnel have dredged water channels on Jl. Raya Boulevard Timur and Jl. Taman Tirta, Kelapa Gading. This is to solve inundation in the area when heavy rain falls.
We have 25 Sub-district SDA personnel to do this work. We target it to finish in a week
Kelapa Gading Sub-district's SDA Working Unit Head, Rukmana said, this dredging is done as his response towards complain from local school which is often inundated about 30 cm when heavy rain falls because water channel on Jl. Tirta is already covered by mud.

Meanwhile, mud on Jl. Raya Boulevard Timur's water channel is as high as 30 cm. Those two channels have diameter of 60cmx60cm with length around 200 meters.
Besides dredging mud, his side will also connect those channels to Jingga Connecting Channel. Thus when heavy rain falls, water can flow to the channel.
